Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 Hereford, England) is a English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop tracks "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack of writing songs with emotional uplifting lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of modern mainstream pop and arty independent music. In the end, she signed a major-label agreement to Polydor Records and began making preparations to launch her debut album.
