Andrea Anders

Anders is from Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in DeForest and now lives at Los Angeles. She earned a diploma from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. After that, in 1997 she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's in Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders dated Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They dated on the sets of Joey, the cancelled sitcom. Sean Anders directed her in the films "Sex Drive" and "Never Been Thawed". In 2001, Anders made her debut in the theatre. She worked with Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Also, she appeared on stage in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress was also seen in the two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. In the month of May, 2007 Anders began her role as a character in The Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. Fat Pig, which closed it's doors on July 1 in 2007, had Anders play Jeannie, a bookkeeper. Anders was first discovered on TV in an advertisement for Dannon that aired in 2006, and then again in the 90s. Anders one of her most well-known roles include Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). The two series ended up being cancelled even though she appeared in each episode. Anders appeared as an guest in One Life to Live. Law & Order. The Guiding Light. And Tru Calling. In 2003, she was Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. She also made small appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders has also played Brandy in 2008's film, Sex Drive. Anders was also a part of two unsuccessful television pilots. These included Spellbound and News To Me. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera comedy about work composed by Victor Fresco for ABC.
